1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored or read by the browser. Technologies such as localStorage can serve similar purposes. Rules distinguish technical tools required for requested functionality from non-technical tools used for analytics, profiling or marketing.
2. Technical tools currently used
| Name | Purpose | Indicative duration |
|---|---|---|
sais_session | Technical HttpOnly cookie maintaining the customer authenticated session. | Up to 14 days |
sais_admin | Technical HttpOnly cookie maintaining an admin session. | Up to 12 hours |
sportsocial_locale | Technical/preference cookie shared across SportSocial.ai subdomains, with supporting localStorage, remembering the chosen language. | Up to 12 months; localStorage remains until browser storage is cleared |
ss_cookie_consent_v1 | Technical localStorage entry recording cookie choices and avoiding unnecessary repeated prompts. | Up to 6 months before re-evaluation |
3. Analytics and marketing
No optional analytics or marketing cookies are enabled in the current website configuration. Accordingly, while only technical tools are used, SportSocial.ai does not request unnecessary prior consent via a banner. Cookie preferences remain accessible from the footer.
4. Future optional tools
If non-technical tracking tools are enabled in the future, they will remain disabled by default until the required choice is made. The consent interface supports accepting, rejecting or customising optional purposes, and optional scripts must not load before consent where consent is required.
5. Change your choices
You can revisit cookie choices at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Withdrawal applies prospectively.
6. Browser controls
You can also delete cookies and local storage through browser settings. Disabling technical session cookies can prevent access to authenticated areas.
